How fun! These fish were swimming all around Sturgeon Bay when I visited over Memorial Day weekend. I had to take pictures.

I found inspiring textures from nature too in my excursion to Door County. Sunlight reflecting off of water, the ripple of little waves; and I had never noticed the painterly quality of smoke and flame on its surroundings. It’s back to work now with my new inspiration; it will take years to turn these into textile patterns!
