Added Value of Brentano Polyurethane

I received a request from one of our reps to explain what makes our polyurethane products unique, focusing on Jetset and Essence. More people may have the same question, and I am happy to share.

1)     Unlike some of the faux leathers on the market that use polyurethane resin made for the fashion industry, our polyurethane products are designed for the furniture industry. The resin formula is designed to last and stay in good condition for a long time compared to products that are made for fashion purposes which will deteriorate in a few years.

2)     Our polyurethane faux leather is uniquely designed and colored by the Brentano Design Studio and marketed only by the Brentano brand. The soft hand, color, pattern and luster are outstanding, and the function of our faux leather goes beyond what real leather can do. « Read the rest of this entry »

All-Purpose Cleaners for Our PU

Would you dry clean your sofa?

For our polyurethane product, we typically recommend that clients clean it with soap and water. In a tough stain situation, the “solvent resistant finish” on our polyurethane means that rubbing alcohol or a solution of 1:5 diluted household bleach to water is also safe to use. Why the pigment will not wear off
Since we introduced Filigree and D.I.Y. this fall, I have received questions from designers who are concerned about the color pigments wearing off after heavy use. Some clients had bad experiences in the past and therefore shy away from using printed surfaces. « Read the rest of this entry »

Pompadour and Parfait in blues

Back in 2010, I had forecast marine as one of the up-and-coming colors for this year, so I reintroduced navy in this fall’s collection. One of our reps had been screaming for jewel tones, so I tried. I still have not had any luck making any new greens, but I will continue to try. « Read the rest of this entry »
